Meet Mr James
My name is Brad James and I have been teaching at secondary level now for over a decade. I started my teaching career in Northampton when I graduated from the University of Northampton with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with Education (2:1) in 2013 where I was teaching Computer Science, for 2 years.
I then moved back to my home town of Boston, in Lincolnshire, at which point, I managed to secure a position in a large secondary school as a Teacher of Mathematics. During my time at this school, I had the opportunity to complete the TSST (Teacher Subject Specialism Training) course in Mathematics in partnership with the Cambridge Maths Hub.
I have been teaching Mathematics ever since which gave me the passion and enthusiasm to start my own Maths tutoring business.
I no longer work full time as a teacher, however, I still work in secondary schools on a supply basis which allows me to keep my subject knowledge as strong as possible. I strongly believe that the skills and experiences which I have gained during my decade as a teacher has helped me to ensure that all students of Mr James Maths Tuition get the very best out of their tutoring experiences.
In addition to Primary and Secondary Mathematics, I am also a specialist in 11+ instruction.
Mr James Maths Tuition has been going from strength to strength since being established in 2017.
I have an Enhanced DBS and a Level 3 Safeguarding Children certificate.
